I am a Graphic Artist.

For over 10 years I have been passionate about finding just the right way to visually communicate an idea or product. Whether it's an ad, a brochure, a logo or a website. I pride myself on really listening to the wants and needs of my clients, so their personality and professional image shines through!

Originally from Texarkana, Texas, I hold my BFA from Stephen F. Austin State University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Top in the Class with a 4.0 GPA.

EMPLOYMENT:

2004-present - Freelance Graphic Designer

  • Art Directing, Copy Writing and Designing original marketing material and websites for small businesses, theaters and production companies. Notably: New York Times ads and Off-Broadway signage for comedian Eddie Izzard’s 2008 National Tour.

2004-present - Administrative Director, Bootstraps Comedy Theater

  • Managing a contractor staff of up to 25 actors, directors and designers.
  • Maintaining financial records for this small non-profit organization
  • Award-winning resident Properties and Scenic Designer

2003-present - Assistant Art Director, Dallas Children's Theater

  • Re-branded the DCT young adult initiative, creating a relevant acronym and logo appealing to the youth of DFW. This re-branding resulted in increased performance attendance and increased membership in the DCT Youth Council.
  • Initiated the change from one-color to four-color Student Matinee Performance Series brochure which resulted in the fastest Student Matinee sell-out in company history.
  • Established and edit the DCT eNews email newsletter; growing the subscriber list from 700 to 4500 in 3 years
  • Art Directing, Photographing and Designing artwork to represent season of eleven plays on posters, in programs and in print, television and web advertising
  • Annually reinventing the design of the DCT Academy brochure in order to keep patrons and their children interested in attending classes at DCT
  • Serving as Assistant Administrator for www.dct.org
  • Designing invitations for various fundraising and donor appreciation events
